Perfumer Margaux Le Paih Guérin builds Oud Candy around contrast rather than simple sweetness. The composition begins almost edible — creamy, sugary and comforting — before gradually revealing an altogether darker personality.

Her creation moves from confectionery indulgence into smoke, oud, woods, moss and leather, while caramel and vanilla keep a thread of sweetness running through the fragrance.

The result feels deliberately contradictory: comforting yet provocative, playful yet dark, edible yet animalic. ✨
